Tira Go Deas

We got some sad news today. My very good friend had to put her horse Tira to sleep today. She had got kicked in the paddock we think which resulted in an infection in the injured leg which they couldnt cure. So sad, she was such a great horse, and a big part of our lives for 10 years. I still remember the endless conversations in the car on the way to the barn over what she should name her. In the end I think her name was perfect, Tira Go Deas (beautiful Tira in Irish). Godspeed Tira, may you find old friends to welcome you over the rainbow bridge.
